I’ve been reading about partner homicide and the risks of being killed by an ex-partner.
Lack of previous physical abuse doesn’t mean I’m any safer.
Apparently the risk is greatest in the first 2 months of separation, although the risk never completely diminishes, as time goes by it gets less likely. The Policewoman who came to see me said the fact that he hasn’t been to my house or stalked me is a good sign.
I’m trying not to be too scared.
